Flexible Online Study
After enrolling you will receive access to your online course content. You can then begin when you want and progress at your own pace.
Your course units can be accessed at any time and each unit assignment including videos, will be completed via our unique interactive online learning platform.
You will be able to chat with your fellow students via our discussion forum and instant messaging to discuss topics with your peers.
There are a number of audio and video resources to support your learning as well as various activities specifically created to build up your knowledge alongside your assessed unit assignments.
There are also regular, interactive tutor “drop in” sessions available via our virtual classroom to further aid your learning – these also provide an opportunity to ask your tutor any questions should you wish.

Upon successful completion you will achieve the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills (600/0727/8) qualification.
This course is also Online Quality Checked by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) – this means that in the opinion of the Society the training offered is safe, ethical and delivered in a competent fashion. Our students are able to obtain NCPS student membership.
Completing this course equips you with in-depth knowledge of using counselling skills in everyday life and work, and the approaches that underpin these skills.
This course alone is not a route to the Accredited Register nor does it fully equip a graduate to practice as a qualified counsellor. In order to fully qualify, you would need to progress onto attendance Level 4 (or equivalent) training.

- Unit 3: Working ethically with counselling skills
- Understand what is meant by an ethical framework
- Know how an ethical framework relates to the use of counselling skills

You will need to be aged 18+ to enrol on this course.
We recommend you have some knowledge or experience in counselling, e.g. successfully completing the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (600/0728/X) course or equivalent.
You will need access to the internet, and access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
As a guide this course has an expected total study time of 400 hours, studied in your own time, at your own pace. If needed, you have 2 years to complete this course.
After successfully completing this course, you will have worthwhile and sought-after skills and knowledge that mean many different career paths are open to you:
